Our first micro-grant was made to the Puerto Aventuras Colonos Environmental Committee to support their May, 2009, community clean-up event in the Poblado.
In addition to supporting Anat Kah-based or co-sponsored initiatives, we will be providing grants to help local organizations and community groups enhance our communities, protect the environment, and provide opportunities for youth. Our long-term grant making, or social investment, strategy will be guided by the findings of the 2009-2010 Community Needs and Opportunities Assessment.

In order to receive grant funding, organizations or groups must submit an application which includes comprehensive plans for each project requiring funding, detailing what the project will entail, how it will benefit the community, how its results will be measured and how it will be sustained. Anat Kah will fund projects that address issues within one or more of our broader funding areas listed below.

All grantees are accountable for the funds that they receive, and will provide regular reporting on their progress and funding allocation to Anat Kah. We are dedicated to transparency, not only in our fundraising but also in the accountability and results from the organizations that we support, which is why we request ongoing evaluations and reports.

Micro-grants will also be available for one-time or short-term projects or events that would like to request 5000 pesos or less. This grant application is less comprehensive than the regular grant application, and micro-grant funds are disbursed on an ongoing basis.

Anat Kah will disburse regular grant funding twice a year (January and June), but we will receive applications on an on-going basis.

We are willing to help groups and organizations prepare their grant application. If you have any questions, please contact us.
